Ah, the aroma of flowers and the essence of romance. What an exquisite combination and a perfect pair. Kaethe Butcher takes us into adventures through her illustrations that feature a variety of experiences when it comes to love and relationships.

Calm and in harmony, organic and natural, these drawings bring the aspect of familiarity and contentment. Its supple and compassionate lines duet with the emotion of each illustration and mingle it together with flowers that lift and refresh the mood, along with its golden and balmy tones, slightly blazing. Yielding a dash of connection, the floral decor is not just an ornament, but is also part of the encounter. It splashes a hint in every story, as if a cipher, telling us whether we are seeing a surreal occasion, or witnessing lovers in bloom, maybe watching a coming-of-age tale unfold right in front of our eyes.

When people look at my artworks I want to give them a reflection of their own emotions, of moments from the past or a wish for the future. I want the viewers to pause for a bit and embrace all these feelings and moments they may have forgotten while living their hectic lives and to find a piece of their own story in one of my lines.
